Creativity tends to spill into other art forms, and Saxton’s work is no exception. With an equally voracious appetite for writing as for designing, drawing and painting, Patricia Saxton writes promotional copy, editorials, and has author/illustrated the well-received children’s book, The Book of Mermaids – with more in the wings. Truth is, she’s rarely without paper and pen (or keyboard), unless tackling diverse projects like the 6-foot high light bulbs she painted for a NJ energy conservation program.
